The Story.

I have spent more years than I can count in folding chairs along chain-link fences. Tournament weekends in three states. White pants washed at midnight. Coolers packed before sunrise. Lineup cards taped to dugout fences and post-game ice cream as a scoreboard apology. I am a baseball mom — and like a lot of you, I have lived this game from the seats most people forget about.

That is where Built for 9 started.

Baseball has always had its own style. The way a player wears a hat. The way a team shows up on game day. The way a kid walks taller in a fresh tee on the morning of a tournament. In this game, how you feel matters. How you carry yourself matters. When you look sharp, you stand taller. When you feel confident, you compete differently.

Built for 9 exists for that reason.

I founded Built for 9 in 2025 to make apparel for the people who actually live this game. Not the highlight reel — the full season. The early mornings, the late lessons, the bus rides, the rain delays, the parent in the third row who has watched every at-bat. Some pieces speak to the grind. Some speak to the swagger. Some are just for the kid who wants to feel like a big leaguer on a Tuesday. Every design connects back to the culture of baseball and the families who live it every day.

This brand is for players, coaches, instructors, parents, fans, and anyone who respects the game beyond the scoreboard. It is for the early morning practices, the late night lessons, the tournament weekends, the bus rides, the dugout conversations, and the small details that separate good from great.

Baseball has given my family a rhythm, a set of values, and a community I would not trade for anything. Built for 9 is my way of giving something back to the game that has shaped our weekends, our memories, and the standard we live by.
